A Room with a View

Today is rainy and wet, a storm front covering most of Northern California into the Sierras. I love rainy days, especially this time of year in anticipation of the Spring flowering.  The first thing I see every morning when I look outside my window is this:

In the summer it is bright green and in the fall the leaves turn golden.  But this is popcorn right outside...







I see these trees and beautiful pink flowering trees all over Roseville and Sacramento right now and I am grateful to be living in an area with seasons.  Don't you love it?
